Strimlus walk the dog biscuits at Victory Gärde in Västervik

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Strimlusen (Graphosoma lineatum) is a spectacular insect, that really lights up with its deep red color matched with black stripes. These specimens I found at Victory Gärde Nature Reserve, where the swarming of them on dog biscuits flower. Strimlusen is Södermanland landscape insect.

Now that I got my camera back from repair, I'm an easy victim to nature's cruelty, such as ticks , mosquitoes and snakes, as I'm very close with nature. The picture shows a rödsippa who have not had enough energy to bloom. photographed at Victory Gärde in Västervik.
