Friday, June 19th, 2009Long Erik is Öland's most northerly lighthouse. Built in 1885 and is 32 meters high, built of limestone. Limestone mining has been, and is an important part of Öland nutrition. It is 138 steps up to the top of the lighthouse, and it is a very beautiful view from there. The history of the lighthouse on Long Eric's website , and information and opening times for visitors. Skan's rocks, under a warm sunset.
Sunday, May 31st, 2009 With its smooth rocks are Skanvik a nice sun and bathing spot. Yes, one should be athletic talent if you want to get a swim in the cold (?) Seawater. Although spring, autumn and winter are Skanvik beautiful. Skanvik is a milestone for Grönsö trail is a hiking trail of 12 kilometers, with overnight facilities.

The first picture I have used a Hoya ND400 filter that gives me 8 steps longer exposure. As seen on the water that is reminiscent of fog
