Snow and wind are a great combination! The wind can create really interesting creations of the snow. Below we see a snowy landscape at Kulbacken in Västervik . The picture was taken with a 50mm lens which says that it's a close-up, and no large snowfields that can be seen in northern Sweden, among the mountains . What creates the deep shadows are spotlights which highlight Unos tower .

The cannon on Kulbacken and the West's largest churches.

Monday, April 6th, 2009

On Kulbacken is Västervik's Museum , and there are two Russian cannons that stood on the mountain since 1920 ( source + more info). To the right we see St. Gertrude's Church (Very interesting facts on the link!). The church building was begun in 1433 and was completed 15 years later. To the left we see St. Peter's church built in 1903 and was completed in 1905, which is today the West's largest church
